"After just one session with the Little One, you'll be more confident when standing over a golf ball. And that makes for more fun golf."
With a smaller club face comes a bigger challenge. But fear not! Once you begin training with The Little One, you will notice an improvement not only in your ball striking, but in your distance, concentration and confidence. By practicing with a significantly small club head, you will greatly increase your awareness of where on the club you are striking the ball - of course, the center is the goal.
For best results, PSP suggests starting with The Little One with a chip from the fringe, keeping in mind that this is about precision, not distance. As you get more comfortable, increase your distance from the green and transition to pitches. Eventually move on to half and full shots, maintaining the goal of a precise, centered ball strike.
When you pick up your regular clubs after using The Little One, you will fully understand the effectiveness of The Little One and will be able to strike any ball with confidence and accuracy.
When they said size doesn't matter, they were talking about The Little One Golf Training Aid!
How to Use:
Since golf is about getting the ball into the hole with as few strokes as possible, we will begin to train our senses around the green first.
After learning basic direction and distance control with your putter on the green The Little One starts to come into its element as soon as you reach the fringe.
Everything has a beginning and so we start with the golf shot that has the shortest ball flight "the chip".
Toss a few balls down and gently strike some short chip shots. Not far; this is not a distance thing!
After spending some time getting comfortable with The Little One from close range move gradually back and choose longer shots with a greater flight distance and more "run-out". Gradually as your chosen shot lengthens the feedback The Little One gives you on centered ball-strikes will develop significantly.
If you practice at a facility that has a spacious pitching area then by all means go as far back from the flag you want. If not then move to the range and hit some short running shots and gradually build up to a full swing.
Building the shot strength like this makes a transition from chips to pitches to half and full shots more gradual and reduces shot expectation significantly. Our aim is to get you striking your full shots as brilliantly as your short chips. The often stated fact that a chip-shot is only a shortened full swing has never been truer.
At PSP Golf we believe every drive should be as easy as a chip. The Little One makes it possible.
